The crew removes the existing old flooring and surround, inspects the framing and subfloor, installs a new subfloor underlayment, builds the new flooring transitions (LVP plank, premium LVP, or tile), reworks plumbing as needed, and sets glass or a curtain rod. Permits are typically pulled when plumbing is moved.
